Brought to you by Shades Book Club, this community exists for creators who want to earn income from what they actually create. This includes journals, books, products, services, experiences, systems and stories. Anything created by your hands, your mind and your imagination belongs here.

I am Sydney Bryant, the owner of Shades Book Club, and a creator first. Like many creatives, especially Black women, I have spent years in environments where my ideas were praised, used and monetized while my compensation did not reflect my value. Corporate spaces often rely on creative labor without fully honoring it. That reality pushed me to build something different.

The Creator Economy was created out of necessity.

This space is about ownership. It is about learning how to turn your creativity into sustainable and consistent cash flow. It is about building income streams that do not disappear because of layoffs, restructuring or shifting priorities that are out of your control.

This community is designed for individuals who want to own what they create, get paid what they are worth and build income beyond corporate America. It is for creators who want real lessons from real experience. Lessons rooted in building products, running side hustles and learning how to market what you make with intention.

This is not theory. This is lived experience.

The Creator Economy is the playbook many of us were never given. It centers ownership and imagination as tools for financial stability. It invites creators to build freely while being compensated fairly and consistently.
