
Shades of Wellness is a holistic wellness practice centered on caring for the whole self through yoga, nourishment, rest, and self awareness.

This space is rooted in the understanding that wellness is not singular or prescriptive. It exists in layers and shifts across seasons of life. What brings balance to one person may not serve another, and what the body needs today may change tomorrow. Shades of Wellness honors that complexity.

Through gentle movement, intentional nourishment, and meaningful rest, this practice encourages slowing down and listening. Listening to the body. Listening to the nervous system. Listening to what feels sustaining rather than what feels demanded.

The work shared here is not about fixing or optimizing the body. It is about learning how to care for it with honesty and patience. It is about building practices that support clarity, regulation, and peace over time.

Shades of Wellness is guided by a Black woman’s perspective and lived experience. While the lens is specific, the invitation is open to anyone drawn to thoughtful, grounded approaches to wellness.
